Solid Colour Clothings

Solid colour clothings may appear to be boring to some, while to others, it may be a style that brings on a more youthful appearance. 

Basically there are no thumb rules set about what colours women between 40-60 years old can wear and what they can’t wear. But it is always better to avoid those colours which distract from you and are not age appropriate.

Once you cross 40 it is better to avoid too bright colours or multi colour clothes which are not appropriate to your mature look. And for this purpose it is best to stick to solid colors.

One of the advantages of wearing solid coloured clothes is related to the colour changes which occur every season in women’s clothing. One spring you might find pastels and in few months time you may find earth tones in style. But solid and classic colors such as black, white, gray and beiges never really go out of fashion and always got a classic and sophisticated appeal about it.

Solid colour clothings such as white, black, grey etc are also synonymous with elegance, class and sophistication. It is always a good idea to start experimenting with some solid colors.. It is best not to have too many colours or images in your clothing and solid colours suits best for the age group of 40 years and above. Even solid colours such as browns, deep purples, navy blues, dark greens, maroons, can make you look awesome and a lot younger!

There is variety of choices and the most popular outfits with mature women are solid colour suits, sweaters or blouses. Go for a solid coloured sophisticated lace top! It oozes with youth and feminity..

An added bonus of solid colour clothes such as black or grey is that they tend to be slimming as well. A dark coloured dress not only helps in minimizing your width but it can also easily complement your skin tone.

It is advisable that mature ladies go for solids like the five basic shades which are black, brown, navy, gray, camel or white when it comes to selecting suites, pants or skirts.
