My Sunbeam Heated Blanket – From Childhood To Adult Life

I’ve been loved electric blankets since I was a small girl!  I remember those long cold nights when my parents made sure that I was warm and snug and switched on my Sunbeam heated blanket an hour before bedtime. 

I always hated cold winter nights and couldn’t bear being without my electric blanket. Now that I have grown up, got married and got kids of my own, we all have electric blankets.  In fact, I’d rather choose not to watch television at night if rather than giving up the Sunbeam heated blanket I just bought!  

My Sunbeam electric blanket warms up very fast and more often than not it only takes a handful of minutes for me to begin feeling warmer than a Joey inside its mother’s pouch! Truthfully, a Sunbeam heated blanket heats up much quicker than you may expect and have experienced with inferior electric blankets.  

Its blanket consists of a soft, very cozy, 100% acrylic fabric exterior. I purchased mine with a light, cream colour, although you will be able to find colours available to suit just about everyone’s taste.  

One of the blankets’ more important benefits is that you’ll not feel wires or elements in it.  A Sunbeam heated blanket feels almost exactly the same as a typical, everyday blanket feels, which is achieved via what Sunbeam calls “Thermo-Fine Warming“ technology. 

Although, I cannot really advise you much about how this technology works, I can advise you though that it’s really effective!  

The blanket has a five year warranty and it’s passed all of the safety checks of course. For one of the larger blankets, you’ll pay about $90 bucks but you can always get a smaller one cheaper.  When you need to clean it, you don’t need to do anything special.  All you have to do is clean it just as you would clean your other blankets. 

I’d give my Sunbeam heated blanket a maximum 100/100.  I’m no push over when it comes to evaluating anything that I’ve bought.  And in fact, I’m extremely demanding when it comes to spending my own money.    I just feel that my Sunbeam heated blanket takes me back to those cozy nights when my parents put my blanket an hour before my bedtime
