Why were these original commandments created in Animal Farm?
I am wondering why these original commandments were created in Animal Farm.
The commandments that I am wondering about are:
No animal shall drink alcohol.
No animal shall wear clothes.
Whatever goes on 2 legs is an enemy.

They were the rules that would lead the animals to be more prosperous and live better more equal lives than their former human dictators did. They were originally intended to better the lives of the animals.
However, as you probably know, they were altered and changed to suit the desires of the pigs, as the farm slowly turned from a democratic society into a dictatorship.
